Fusion Therapeutics is a private physiotherapy clinic providing assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal and related health conditions.
What Data We Collect
We collect data necessary to provide physiotherapy care, including: name, contact details, date of birth; relevant medical history and referral information; and clinical records, reports, and correspondence related to your treatment.
How We Receive Your Data
We receive information directly from you when you contact or register with us, and from referring GPs/consultants who share referral information securely for direct care purposes. All referral data is transmitted via secure, encrypted methods.
Why We Process Your Data (Lawful Basis)
Your information is processed under Article 6(1)(e) and Article 9(2)(h) UK GDPR to deliver health care and treatment.
How We Store and Protect Your Data
Your records are stored securely in our encrypted electronic health record system (Cliniko). Access is limited to authorised clinical staff. All systems use encryption, secure passwords, and UK/EU■based servers. Records are retained for 8 years from the date of last treatment (or longer for children).
Sharing Your Information
We may share relevant information with your GP/referrer or other healthcare professionals involved in your care (with your knowledge), and with regulators where required by law. We will never share your data with third parties for marketing.
Your Rights
You have the right to access your data, request correction or deletion (within lawful retention limits), restrict or object to processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
